Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this forum, so a little introduce: My name is Aram, live in Holland and my interest is Normandy. I show here 2 of my favourite Normandy deathcards.
The first deathcard (KIA on D-day):
Georg Gradl, born on 19.06.1925 in Dieterskirchen. He served the 916 grenadier regiment; 352 infanterie division. He defend the Omaha Beach sector and was KIA on 06.06.1944 (D-day). I made a photo of his grave on La Cambe. I've got the information of the Volksbund.
The second deathcard:
Xaver Boiger, born on 05.04.1926 in Rogendorf. He served also the 916 grenadier regiment; 352 infanterie division. He was KIA on 09.06.1944 by Colombières; a couple of kilometers out of Omaha Beach. I've got the information of the Volksbund. Haven't a photo of his grave, but make it next year.
Hope you all like it and greetings,
