    Black / silver wound badge docs, a little different

    Got these with the Wehrpass recently (see appropriate forum) and found a somewhat different black wound badge doc.

    Check 'em out!

      ...and here's what's different: his 2nd wound annotated on the back of the Black w/b doc! Stamp is from Pz Art Rgt 78 / II Abt.

      Probably not unique, but first I've seen that way in my few years of collecting. Sorta like the EK docs with the deed typed on the back.

        Strange example of gründlichkeit. Perhaps one units interpretation of the rules though unnecessary as his wounds would be recorded in his SB.
        Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

          Nice little Group. Maybe a Daft question, But the dates Noted on the reverse of the WB Doc, Don't fit with the official Dates on the Front....Is this another case of him getting wounded?

            You've got 3 wounds recorded. 1 on the front of the black doc, 2 on the back of the black and 3 on the silver.
