        Has anyone got any bio info on the wartime career of SS Unterscharfuhrer Georg Diers who at the end of the war was serving with s SS Panzer Abt 503 ?

          in the book "Magazine 39-45" (in French)of May 2005 , he recounts in detail his battle for the defense of Berlin and how he destroyed with a mine,the charred bodies of Hitler and Eva Braun!

              Was there any basis for Pentland's painting? That Tiger is completely exposed.

              There are a few pics of Karl-Heinz Turk's abandoned Tiger II after the battle, but are there any of Diers'?

                That is quite a claim on his behalf!

                Is there any witness testamonies or evidence to support this?

                              Phil i have read all Diers memoirs about the fighting in Berlin and have never seen this before !!! Or heard of him claimimg this before ??

                              He seemed to a bit busy in combat in his Tiger II !!!
