Great photos Bryant, it is interesting how he has pushed the metal eagle pins right through the original cloth eagle! it almost looks like he has something else on the side of the cap just visible?

Howdy Kevin. I thought that was interesting also. I've seen a few photos of metal eagles applied over cloth ones. I always thought it was a curious embellishment.

Yes it looks like a tradition badge. I'm just not sure of its origin.
