I like the private purchase ski boots on the unteroffizier in post 7 with the Kreta cufftitle and what looks like a steuermann's badge.

I've seen this style of boot in wear before with white laces. It reminds me of my own time in the British army when we were allowed to buy our own ski boots as long as they were black because the issued ones were terrible.
