here are 2 shots of a member of the 16./geb.jagr. rgmt. 206 - part of a trove of over 500 pix of his. besides the scarce mountain over-jacket, you'll note the sgt's. expensive tastes: flatwire 'T' cap eagle and officers' hand-woven tunic eagle.
in other pix in russia or estonia he's bundled into his VERY expensive sheepskin lined roughout overcoat as favored by generals!

#1 Gebj Fritz (last name unk)

Having gone through the lists of GJ DKiG holders and Heeresbergführer there's really ony one oberfeldwebel named Fritz that stands out. Fritz Schweizer of 1./GJR 98, 1 Geb.Div. DKiG 16.08.42 and HBF 28.02.1940. I believe he was later comissioned and ended the war as a leutnant
