I found this memorial photo of a Feldwebel currently for sale on e-bay. It's from 1942 of a Feldwebel born in 1899.
I thought it was kind of interesting because of the "pointy" shoulder boards on dark green badge cloth suggesting between 1935 and 1939 --- maybe a "career man". Nevertheless his Schützenschnur has the 2nd pattern shield for levels 1-4 with crossed swords.
