German Invasion Plans for England

Hi Everyone,

I picked these up a while back and wondered if anyone else has encountered them. If I'm not mistaken they are essentially geographical and other data for use as and when German was to invade England. Produced for the Army High Command, 1941.

Ultimately, a multi-volume set, presumably covering the whole of the British Isles, I have the volume for the South Coast (Militaergeographische Angaben ueber England: Suedkueste). Also, Objektbilder #11 for South-England.

In searching the web, I have come across similar books for White Russia.

And, dare I ask, anyone have any idea what my books are worth?

Saw a complete set about 2 1/2 years back. Unfortunately, can't remember where or how much it went for, but it certainly wasn't for a "couple of thousand."

Very nice books, but are they actually invasion plans as such? They are very detailed maps and info about locations that maybe attacked from the air or it may be used during an invasion, but these are not actually invasion plans or is there more in the books, than you have shown, like unit movements, time tables, etc for an invasion?

Very difficult to put a value on them, but I would put them up on ebay if I were you and let the buying public decide what they are worth to them and I think that you should get plenty of interest and a high price ... good luck. Cheers, Torsten.
