From what i can remember to the front of Dachau entrance was/is a small stone bridge which went over the surrounding moat, this looks a like a running track which i doubt was inside the main camp, best Sean

The sports field and swimming pool were at the extreme north west corner of the SS-Uebungslager complex, the second photo was almost certainly taken there. A very interesting pair of photographs, thanks for sharing them. Do you have others in this series?

He's wearing the SS-Totenkopfverbaende cuff title, and if we're lucky it looks like it might just be the rare sutterlin version.
