(Sorry; I can't read the Bulgarian text.)

From my other post just downthread. These are closeups of the Bulgarian text I'd be interested in translating.

Hello. The text is partial and somewhat damaged from album removal, but I'm hoping there is some clue as to the zeppelin this crew member was on, or perhaps the location. Thank you in advance.

            Regards,
            Kevin

I'm afraid that somebody trimmed the photo that way. That is the complete reverse.

Difficult, but the closing is "..dedicated in friendly remembrance..... friend Ludwig Schaefers" and I cannot read anything pertinent to the location or unit. Seems to be just a "don't forget me" note.

                          It's Weitbruch/Hagenau in the Alsace.

                              Yes:

                              "Weitbruch/Straßburg/Els." = "Weitbruch/Straßburg/Elsaß" [Weitbruch/Strasbourg/Alsace].

And in the second scan in post # 14983:

"WBK Hagenau/Els". = "Wehrbezirkskommando Hagenau/Elsaß" [Military Recruiting Subdistrict Headquarters Haguenau/Alsace]

                                exactly, "Weitbruch / Straßburg / Els.(ass), Schneidereck 363 "
