Just for the sake of completeness: The symbol behind the "80" means "Pfennig".

                  Hello,

May I ask for your help with the name of this General?
He probably had a connection to the Asienkorps.

                  All the best,
                  Nicolas

                        I found a Generalmajor Ludwig Leupold (1869 - 1945).

                            Hello,

Here is another General. I read Putna, but that doesnt make sense to me. May I ask, which General it could be?

                            Best regards
                            Nicolas

                              Hi Nicolas,

for a good identification it is better to see the picture.

A Soviet General Vitovt Putna was 1929/1930 military attaché in Berlin, and it could be, that Genral Putna and Dr.-Ing Brenzinger had contact in this time period.

                                Hi Uwe,

Thanks for your reply. It is not a photo but a book, which was published in 1938. As Putna was executed in 1937, he does not seem to fit.

                                Best regards,
                                Nicolas
