    Archi, Pauke, & Gerdan,

I appreciate your quick replies! I took German in the early 90s while in the military and I still have a headache from it.

This was good news and again I appreciate you taking the time to help with your detailed explanations.

    Best regards!

    Bob

                  12959 and following

                  Hi Bob,

                  that is all correct.

In §2 (Eisernes Kreuz von 1939) is original written:
"... das Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub"

In other official regulations (Richtlinien des Oberkommandos des Heeres für die Verleihung des Ritterkreuzes ...) you can find:
"II Die Verleihung des Eichenlaubes ... zum Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes"

"... von Deinen Staffelkameraden" is also correct, because there is the relation to "Unserem Kommandeur ..." (both in plural).

                  Uwe

Thank you Uwe - appreciate you breaking it down with the references.

                    Regards!

Hello all, I bought these two Imperial award documents and I was wondering if someone could read and translate the recipients name and their position/job into English.

                        Thanks in advance!
