Need translation of German lady's "love" letter
This note was sent to my great uncle from his German girlfriend after the war. Sadly, he contracted polo back home in the US and passed away before this relationship grew. He was in the 406th Cannon Group during the war.
I'm hoping someone can interpret this, as it was recently found among some of his belongings.
