    Brave soldier from 1944

    Hi,

Could someone translate the writing on the back of image number 647? The back of the image is # 648. I can see it was taken in 1944, but that's about it.

                      R.O.A and K.O.A. ????

I can't figure out what was "earned" in these sentences:

                      "Es wurden zum R.O.A. ernannt:"
                      "Zum K.O.A. wurde ernannt:"

                      Thank you for any help!

"ernannt" (nominated). ernennen - means nominate someone.

                        He was nominated as R(eserve) O(ffiziers) A(anwärter)

Right. Allow me to add that the other abbreviation "KOA" stands for K(riegs) O(ffiziers) A(nwärter).
