    Hi,

    Man kommt zusammen,
    Lernt sich kennen,
    Gewinnt sich lieb,
    Und muß sich trennen.

    Zur innigen Erinnerung
    an deine dich liebende
    Freundin.
    Therese Muhr.

      Portepee traeger 1./112

Portepee (as far as I know) are an accent device worn on uniforms or daggers as an extra accoutrement. So these are the men who wore them in whatever unit 1./112 is...RAD maybe? Not sure.

See here (with credit to BLAU250, copied these pix from a thread in daggers forum. It's the little knotted thingy hanging to the left, I do believe):

With "Portepeeträger" is meant a group of Feldwebel (Sergeants).

                          card

I would like to thank everyone for the best wishes and attention received on the occasion of the Fuehrer presenting me with the award. My current condition unfortunately does not allow me to write personally (lined through). I still have to pick up the Oakleaves from the Fuehrer (handwritten). with best greetings, FF
