It could be a possible interpretation of the single letters.

        # 4910

A certain Horst writes to his girl friend Rosi from his ship in front of a photo from her. In about 2 - 3 months he will have vacation/holidays an will go to see her and spent the time together with her. He wants to stay with her and her parents for some days in Wien/Vienna. After that he wants to go with her to see his mother in Danzig. His mother also wants to know Rosi.

This is a (very) short summary of the letter.

It comes from a Hafenkommandant in mudros Greece.
Very strange to start almost halfway the paper, but only the leftside looks to be torn.

in forward, thank you very much for your time.
Just out of curiousity, do you have any idea which ship he was on? It states at the top "an bord" (on board).

            thanks

He also wrote in the beginning that he has just returned from the movies (and they didnt had the opportunity to watch a movie since long time), and his comrades go to sleep now, but he stays up to write this letter.

Uh....yeah....but I was wondering what ship he was on....not if he went to the movies.

I thought maybe the original poster might have more documents that would identify his ship(s).

Urrgh! To me #4924 looks like:

Panzer rohrchen in S..... Juni 36

Armored tubes [barrles] in ..... June 1936.

But I can't make out any umlaut in röhrchen. As I recall, "~chen" is dimunitive; If correct, this might be "tiny panzer tubes in S....."

Also, the placename might begin with "N" instead of "S" ... definitely there are two "u" present as indicated by the "almost-circles" above them. Add to that either a "yp" or "pp" or "yz" ???? This is a tough chestnut to crack (for me)!

Arrgh! It's printed right on the bottom: Neuruppin.

is "tubes" a normal way to describe a tank or tank barrel?
seems funny to me but probably just the difference in translation.

                                so either :
"Tiny Panzer tubes in Neuruppin, June 1936"
                                or
"Armored tubes in Neuruppin, June 1936"
