I see no picture for the first one, but the second one says "DRK Tagung Militaerbefehlshaber Frankreich Februar 1941". German Red Cross meeting, military commander France, Feb. 1941.

May be this is your guy. The family name " Heibey " you find extremely seldom. And in the Volksbund list there are only two " Heibyn" listed.

            Nachname: Heibeyn
            Vorname: Johann
            Dienstgrad: Obergefreiter
            Geburtsdatum: 05.04.1914
            Geburtsort: Hastenrath
            Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 30.05.1942
            Todes-/Vermisstenort: In Rutschewacha

His grave should still be there:

            Selischnja / Olenino - Rußland

Here the German text as I can read it.

                  " München, 25. Sept. 35

                  Lieber Brumm(?)!

The text on the back of the photo is not so easy to read. I think that is the reason because no one of the usual "translators" did the job.

I think it would help to see the pic/front.

As far as I understand the text it is dealing with the German army in Paris July 1941 and with the Militärbefehlshaber Frankreich General Schaumburg (and my be with his driver ?).

Can anyone help me with a general overview of this entry please? It is in a Soldbuch to a member of a Marine-Funkmeß-Abt/Marine-Art-Abt in Bordeaux. I can make out the bit about schrapnel (?) injury to his thigh & lower leg (?) and left shoulder but the rest is beyond me. I can't even get a clear idea of the words so as to put them in to a Google translator.
