Wenigstens Nachträglich herzl. Dank
für Ihr frdl.[freundliches] Telegramm, das mir erst am 22.3.
zukam.
Die Truppen der Division haben sich vortreff-
lich bewährt, leider auch viel [...?]. Jetzt werden
wir aufgelöst. Ihr Rgt. kommt zur 57. I.D.
geschlossen mit 2 Abteilungen u. einer schweren
Batterie. Es ist schrecklich, aber nicht zu ändern.
Ich selbst führe die Division seit 18.1. nicht
mehr, sondern das Korps u.z. [?]. des Korps
S...[?].
Ich will mir zur Erhaltung
der Tradition einen Tscherkassy-Ring
u. einen Tscherkassy-Schild herausbringen.
Sie werden noch davon hören. Falls ich ein-
mal nach Frankreich kommen sollte,
besuche ich sie.
Ihr Nachfolger war ein sehr schneidiger
Mann u. ist Führerres.[erve] OKH.
Saupausche [d. i. Sapauschke] wird Ia der 57., die Infanterie
vom Wehrkr. XII wird als Gr. Rgt. 110 für
die 88. Division überführt.
Mir fällt es unendlich schwer, mich
von unserer treuen u. tapferen Division
zu trennen. Übrigens haben sie sehr gehofft,
mehr als ich sagen kann.

Once again I would like to use your expertise.
I've got a small grouping and with it is this pocket book.
I never paid much attention to it while there are mostly just adresses written in it.
But while I was making new scans I came across this page.
I was hoping it could tell me more about his capturement.

This part I have translated myself but the rest is a no-go for me, can't work it out.

He was in the Stabskp. GR293 and later in the GR352.

"Am 30 April in Gefangenschaft in ? ?
Von der ? ? ?transport.
? ? 30 km zu Füß.
Von der ? ? von der bahn.
? ? dort.
Über ? im ?
? ging ? ? ging ? ? mit L.K.W. ? ?

On the next page it continues but I am mostly interested in the first part.
Where he was captured. If anyone could translate that I would be very thankfull.

Can you please tell what the family name is on the reverse of this photo?

It is a KM Oberleutnant (V) with his wife and child in their back yard.

I think the last name is HEISLER. Although it also looks like HEISTER.
Can someone please let me know what the real name is?
