Sniper Training?

Heres another picture courtesy of Bill Petz. I have a stack full to scan in.Most I'll group together when I post but a few warrant special attention, IMO. This is a nice photo of some rather youthful soldiers attending what I believe to be training for snipers.All have scoped K98s and are wearing the 2d pattern Heer smocks.Jim

Very interesting photo Jim. A rare photo, thanks for posting it! I guess that the person in the greatcoat is the commanding officer and the person next to him appears to be the adjutant. The snipers appear to be very young.
