Dinkelsbuhl

Its a nice little town in the Franconia region of Bayern, near Rohtenbur ob der Tauber.

Was just there in March, very pretty. Can we see the rest??

Thanks for your help Chris. Here are some snapshots from a group of SS-VT visiting the town of Dinkelsbuhl (now thanks to you I know where it is) and what appear to be a fortress/schloss?
There are more captions in Sutterlin on the back of the pictures and also names of the soldiers pictured.

The main part of town is surrounded by a wall. It looks like most of your pictures were taken within that wall. Very nice

The fortress shown in #3 is Burg Saaleck near Hammelburg in the north-west of Bavaria.
Hammelburg is known for its army training area until today.
