Here is a very nice and rather unusual picture of a bunch of Glider Pilots from the LLG 2. This picture is taken during mid 1943

    What are they doing ?????????????

          Pee on command

          Hi,

Indeed I tought it was interesting => it shows a quite normal human scene somewhere in France during 1943

Here is a close up from a brave one (note the EK 1)

          Cordial greetings,

              Giday Stijn,

In years gone by, at the annual dinner and presentation of trophies of my old hockey clug, my former team mates and I would every year stand on one side of a cricket pitch, that was on an oval adjacent the club house, and perform a similar ritual. I think some would call it, "male bonding". We called it the "team slash".

Thanks Stijn for sharing the photo with us.

              All the best,

              Ian

Kind of reminds me of the 'Car wash' scene at the begining of Das Boot.
