That's the same photo that is used for his entry in Tank Killers - A History Of The Tank Destruction Badge by Thomas Breyette & Roger Bender. He finished the war with 21 tank kills.

According to the section on him in the book I mentioned previously, it states that he was a very private man & the author was unsuccessful in several attempts to get him to talk about his achievements.
