Hello Troy101
I collect postcards. There a few of us here on this site.
May I ask a favor for future postings of such material? Could you reduce the size a bit so that we can take in the image in one go as opposed to a 'pan and scan'? It's a little easier on the viewer.
First off, it would be a good thing to see not only the front of the card, but the reverse as well.
The first card is not as rare as you might think. Assuming its genuine for a moment, value can be all over the place. Militaria dealers will certainly place a high value of upwards to 200+USD. I've seen it sell for as little as 25USD recently (I know because I jumped to buy it ). If not a reprint, this is a sought after card among those who place great value on SS material. Kurt Meyer, the subject of the card is well known.
The second card, I have to admit I don't like the sheen I'm seeing on the image you've posted. The card is one of a five card series. I would really like to see the reverse. Is there a Sonderstempel cancellation? The card should exhibit a flat finish not the sheen I'm seeing. A genuine example of this card would be in the area of 15 to 20USD. Among the other cards in this 5 card series I refer to here, the most valuable card would be the card depicting Hitler bending over to greet a child. This card as its brothers are part of a series issued by the German postal authorities.
The third card looks to be an entry in the Men of the Hour series. Probably card number 91 or thereabouts. This series runs to over 124 cards. Some are exceptionally rare and seldom seen. The one shown is one of the more common ones seen in this series. I would like to see the reverse. Sadly the Sonderstempel cancellation shown on the front was defaced as was the card by the removal of the stamp the person applied back in the day which does nothing to enhance the card's value. I'd place the value of this card in the 20-30USD range.
The final Hitler card is one of hundreds of random images of him that one can collect ad nauseum. Being framed makes it difficult to see the reverse and judge the card's value. I would place a 15 to 30USD value on it. This value would be subject to revision downwards if there is damage to the card due mounting in the frame or perhaps upwards if there is found something about the card upon closer examination.
I hope this information was of use to you.
