Spanish Civil War Posters Collection

Hi Guys,

I have some question regarding this Spanish Civil Poster collection that I have got. I am satisfied that these are original Spanish made period posters and I do not question their originality, but I do have some question regarding some of the posters. Cheers, Torsten.

Poster 1 (not actually Civil War but closely related to it)

Poster 4 (evidently not Spanish Civil War, but Spanish Blue Division in a similar style to the other posters)

Poster 7 reverse .. interestingly this poster is perforated and it was printed on the back of some food ration cupons from the Marbella area of Spain

Posters 1, 2, 3 and 4 are evidently Franco Nationalist designs and Poster 7 is Republican, but what about posters 5 and 6?? I simply cannot make up my mind if these are nationalist or Republican designs??? Can you help? Cheers and thanks, Torsten.

5 is Franco too - 'For God and For Spain' I think (at least it doesn't sound very communist considering they killed 7000 nuns and priests during this war). I think 6 is Franco too as the caps match those in # 5- not sure though. These are pretty interesting, never seen any poster designs from that war.

Poster 6 is of republican side. PCE is Partido Comunista de España (communist party of spain).

Poster 5 is nationalist you can see the flag used by nationalist and the slogan is nationalist also, por Dios por España (for God for Spain).
