Book Question, Hard to find?

I picked up this book up at a yard sale, Das Deutsche Lichbild 1934 and was wondering if of any value? It has over a 100 photos of Germany, it’s people, Hitler, etc.

There are some nice photo’s I would like to cut out and frame, but would hate to cannibalize if as a whole it has value. The book itself is far from mint, has a bad spine and some water damage.

Adolf Hitler writes the forward, the entire book is in germen.

Any opinions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I found in Germany the used book sellers sell the 1934 edition for 35,00 Euro

In relatively good condition this book normally retails for about $40 to $50.

The established value is not much more than $50, but I personally wouldn't cut it up. The total presentation is worth something beyond the relative financial merit, and as time progresses these documents of the past will become increasingly difficult to find.

Better to preserve what little remains in my opinion.
