Can anybody tell me when, where, and with whom this picture of Hitler was taken?

This is an often seen picture. Here it appears in colorized form. This image appears in the commonly available cigarette album Kampf um Dritten Reich. Notice the collar tab to the right showing 18. This picture predates the Machtergreifung of 30 Januar, 1933.

I'll continue to look for this image and report any informational caption I run across.

Thank you! I had a feeling that it was an early pic.

It's taken from a well known Hoffmann photo which shows Hitler standing in front of a group of young SA NCOs. It is therefore only a small section of a larger photo.

Max is correct. Compare the OP's image with that image I posted and you'll notice the slightly larger image area from one to another. We can easily deduce that the OP's image is a severly cropped portion of a larger image as my image is a slightly larger cropping.

The complete image should be recovered and posted here before too long.

Hopefully, that image will be accompanied with a proper caption that will give us time and place information.

Sooner or later, I knew I'd come across the uncropped picture we've discussed here and, sure enough, it was taken at the Führerschule in Munich.

Sorry that the picture is a tatty as it is, but the colorizing efforts applied have smirched the clarity of the image.
