Hetzer or Jagdpanzer IV

Hi,

At the moment I am selling this image as a photo with a 'hetzer', though someone on ebay stated it is actually a jagdpanzer IV. To me it looks like a hetzer, though I'm not sure. What do you think?

I think the tracks were different as well.

I believe the Hetzer had thinner tracks, if I can remember anything from my model kit days!

Just Googled Hetzer and that tank pictured is not a Hetzer. As was posted in an earlier thread, the Hetzer had larger road wheels. It was based on the Czech 38(T) chassis, and if you've seen one of them they use a large roadwheel.

The first thing that I looked for was the wheels, but then I noticed that the tracks were different, and the angle was wrong on the side. I, amazingly, have seen a Hetzer in real life. Oh yeah, the hatch is too far back too.

You all are correct. The absence of big steel rimmed wheels really were a give away, stupid I didn't noticed. I just was mislead by the gun mantle, which is quite similair to a hetzer!
