          hi,

these are papers which are attached to packages send to conzentration camps.

eg the one with the pink "urgent" sticker:

the package was sendd from the generalgouvernement (Poland/Radom) to Wladyslaw (last name) in Flossenbürg concentration camp.

the other document (last one) is for determing what should happen with the package in case its not finding the right destination/person.

            Hi Matteus
On the last document there is a signature and a Flossenberg stamp on the
back.is the stamp an acceptance stamp for when it was received at the camp? Thanks for your help! jay

the stamp just tells me that it arrived in Flossenbürg in summer 44, if i'm correct.
              no other specification for that.
then the signature, i dont know who that is, i think its a post officer or somebody else.

now i dont know if this stamp comes from the town
              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flossenb%C3%BCrg
              or the KL.

if you watch the lower right corner, you'll find the place where the inmate has to sign (bottom right is Ort (=place), then comes the date and finally (left) the place for the signature (german: Unterschrift and french, signature). and the sig isnt there...

but as far as i know most of these packs never arrived their destination, they where intercepted before.

              regards

                  PARCEL receipt

These cards are very nice because of the destination. The Flossenburg "stamp" on the back of one card is, in philatelic lingo a
postmark and was applied as a transit or receiving mark by the civilian post office. These cards were printed by the German Post Office for use in showing parcel payment and for keeping tract of the parcel. There was usually a part kept by the sender and the post office.

There are hundreds available, sent during the war to Bohemia & Moravia to engineering design offices.

This is my first post on the TR forums but there is much of interest to POSTAL HISTORY COLLECTORS here.

                    Thanks Joe
Its like a return receipt that we still use today,to verify an item was received. At least thats what it sounds like to me.

Yes, exactly. In the USA, the ones for domestic mail are green and the international ones are pink. In the USA we use the same kind of cards for parcel post, registry, insured, etc. Joe
