    Documents

I am not a document collector and a buddy of mine wanted to know if these were legit or not. I have not had them in hand and I have only these pics. Any help would be great.

The signature is an auto pen I would guess.

Hmmm, I'm really not loving that Hitler signature.

Could be wrong, I suppose, but it just doesn't look right. Also, promotion documents - at least all I've seen - have a date on them.

The promotion doc is quite wrong. the individuals details should be filled in by hand, it's missing the place and date which should be written, again by hand above Der Führer, AH's sig should be a facsimile under Der Führer, it's missing the counter signature and seems to be missing the embossed eagle bottom left.

Over the years, most of us in this hobby have seen many auto pen signed Hitler signatures. I have never seen such a poorly rendered signature as exists on the first document.

I would be extremely hesitant (that is to say, not at all) to accepting this example as genuine.

It looks as though it was signed with his left foot.

              Sorry,

                doc.

I would agree with earlier comments.

                The promo doc looks bad.

The promotion document is a post-war printed piece with a forged Hitler signature. A very obvious and poor fake.
On the face of it, the Göring document could be a genuine blank printed piece, but requires closer examination. Obviously, the signature is not hand signed.
                  Max.
