    Handschar portrait

    A new pick up of mine, an SS Handschar soldier. Feels like cardboard. The size is postcardformat. Feel free to react It is a repro. Isn't the name known of this person?

        Thanks. No problem didn't payed much for this one. Found the meanings of the word : Likvidiran = Liquidated , Licno Pozat: Personally known.

            Isn't the name known? Well he didn't stated it was postcardformat and it looked ID format. Well didn't payed much for it. Thought it feeled weired

              I care about having images, a repro does not mean zero value to me.

              I'd rather have a crisp, clear image of use (insignia, event, etc) or of a known personality than a period photo of a nobody showing nothing.

              I'll buy any quality copies of any series postcards of any SS KC or SS personalities I don't have.

                Same here. If the subject matter is interesting, I don't mind a copy provided the price is reflective. I don't understand why some discount the historical/research value of images that may not be originally printed. It seems to me that the term 'fake' should more appropriately apply to the photo itself but not necessarily the subject.

                  Neither do I, I've got myself also fake photos of Flemish Volunteers. Thought if it is not my subject and I buy the photo because I can get it for cheap and it isn't stated that it is a fake I rather have myself a original coming and not a fake.
