This is a garage sale find. It's a first edition entitled Grosse Deutsche Kunstausstellung 1941. This is the catalog, not the portfolio, but it is complete - none of the pages have been cut out or replaced. Total pages number 217, with several more between sections not numbered. The cover has come loose from the spine, but is still held on at the back of the book.
Prices on these vary, I've seen them range between $50 and $100. I'm wondering:
a) Whether the $100 items are overpriced, and;
b) Whether the first edition had an AH autograph printed beneath his cover plate photo. I'm guessing that is the case, and that I'm not looking at a signed book (the signature looks printed).
Thanks in advance for any info,
Jim
