Hi guys,

I would like to know your opinion regarding this portrait. It is beeing sold on ebay by a well respected WA member. I have my doubts... What do you think?

Sold some time ago on ebay for 100€. The 'identical' portrait is very different then the one beeing sold now!

It's hard to judge the portrait's posted by me here. For me the one beeing sold on ebay now has a very 'strange' contrast and I also am not very fond of the yellowish paper. I personally would not bid on it...

The ones sold before stand a chance though IMO. Hard to tell form these photo's.

the photo is from the same source and there is nothing wrong with the paper. It's a late war photo and of course not a quality as prewar photos. As always warranty on originality.

I am also not entirely sure what your concerns are. They all look ok to me, as far as can be judged from the pics. Cheers, Torsten.

I still am wondering what we should be watching out for. Could you please tell us what you find wrong here. Color variations are very common in photographing or scanning and listing on ebay and other sites. Focus can be a problem as well if not high quality scanned.
