opinion on color slide

Hello all, I have been away from posting for a while but i am still adding thingd to my collection. I juat snaged this off ebay today on a whim. There are a total of 8 color exposures. My question is this, from the photo provided does it look period?

you beat me- very, very probably. Often my 1940s slides have brown cardboard frames, but some were colored. Blacklight it and see if the white glows.
It can also easily be a remounted slide picture.
Anyway, I think you got a good deal.

Thanks.. I agree if they are period and not copies they are a good deal. I do not own any german color slides though I do have a bunch of 1940's US color slides. So i was a bit out of my depth. Once they arrives I will post some and get a better idea.

OK. I received them in the mail today. While my black light is on the fritz I think these are period. Here is one I will post, all in all I am happy. Opinions are more than welcome.

What information came along with them? Were all 8 EKII award pictures like the two shown?

From the background i get the feeling they could have been taken up here in my neck of the woods.
