Mark--two questions:

1. Did you ever meet Wunsche, and do you have any post-war pics of him?

2. It was rumored that Peiper and Wunsche did not get along, both during and after the war. Any truth to that?

Not a KC holder but (for me) a historical individual and related to my research/writing.

Hans Kempin, he commanded at different times:
the SS Panzergrenadier School Kienschlag
the SS NCO School Posen-Treskau
led the Army's 547.Volksgrenadier Division
and was a commander of 32SS Division "30 Januar"

Also among the earliest members of the "Leibstandarte" and led a battaliion with Regiment "Der Führer" in the first Russian campaign

taken by me at his farm in '82 or '83
