    Paul:

Very Nice. That is unquestionably an original Wilhelm Stuckart signature.

A few years ago, I had one of Stuckart's (many) personal Ausweis (signed, of course). It was a Reichsbahn related Ausweis authorizing / ordering Stuckart automatic First Class (paid-for) Train travel whenever the Reichsbahn was to be used for either his personal or professional travels.

Considering his major involvment, influence and importance at Nurnberg / Wannsee, Stuckart received virtually nothing after hostilities....4 Years if I remember correctly (but do please correct me if I'm wrong about this).

Great Stuckart related document you have there.....many thankx for posting....

Hi Hundestaffel. Thank you very much for the kind words. What happened to the Ausweis? What a great piece that would be to any collection!

Yes, you are correct. He was out by '49. He did not have an opportunity to enjoy his freedom for very long, however. He died in an auto accident in '53.

        Hello again Paul !!

I sold that Train related Stuckart Ausweis to a WW2 Signature collector who was indeed very, very pleased with it.

It's amazing, but when I first offered it for sale, 3/4 of the people who inquired about it (and who were just "Tire Kickers" anyways) wanted to know who he was (!!). Unreal.

Thanks again for posting your Very nice Stuckart related document...

It was on a well known US militaria dealer's website for ages before selling about 2 or 3 years ago. If I remember correctly, it was just a printed card with his signature on the back and no photo.
          Max.

            Max.

That indeed may have been the one I had, Max (the one I had never did have a photo). These pieces do travel when one is in need of shekels....
