I've just added these to my collection a nice group of WHW turnplakettes from 1939 given for donating to the WHW fund.
These were given out for Jan, Feb, Oct & Nov. 1939 - I've also just bought Dec 39.

Very striking and classic Nazi party illustrative style - blond hair and square jawed. I'd be interested to see what the months I haven't got look like if anyone has got them.

I know what you mean but I am not sure he'd have got away with the 'collar up' look in reality - I am sure some HJ leader would have kicked his ass for improper dress

I dont have any of these,
but have always liked the look of almost all WHW paper items.
I dont know if many on WAF were ever artists, but I can tell you from experience that watercolors are not so easy to master-you cant paint over a mistake in watercolors.But you can in oils

I think the art work shown on the WHW labels is among the best there is.
