Luft Photo: Trying to identify the Ritterkreuzträger?

    Hi Guys,

I bought this photo (on Agra-Brovira paper size: 18x13 cm) with a few others of differing sizes which were all being sold as original pics of a Luftwaffe Field Division unit in training. My question is can anyone identify the pictured Ritterkreuzträger? It looks like he might be the rank of Generaloberst by the looks of his collar tabs.... I tried to go through my LWFD order of battle info and looked up individual commander profiles online, but couldn't match the man pictured.... Any help anyone could offer would be very much appreciated!

We can do a lot better than that. This is indeed an awesome pic, taken in Greece in 1943.

1L - Karl Drum, Commanding Gen 11 LWFD in Greece. I have seen a whole album of his Ia on sale recently and he was always wearing the same sun glasses. Needless to say, this is the real Karl Drum looking a little different from the one portrait shot from Biblio Verlag.

2L - was what I am quite confident was then Obst Walter Pawelke, eventually GenMj. He was here commander 21 LWJg Rgt, a unit of 11 LWFD.

        3L - Loehr as Kmdr HrGr E

4L - Wilhelm Speidel, WB Suedgreichenland. Bilblioverlag's pic of him was so bad it should be taken out of circulation.

Man on extreme right was not Drum's Ia Heinz Alweyn. Loehr had Heer CdS so not his. I don't know who was CdS of Wilhelm Speidel.

        Cheers

Wow! You guys rock! Thanks so much. I have additional pics of these officers on what appears to be the same day, as well. I really appreciate the help!

Note: the guy in the Zeltbahn does kinda resemble Stalone. LOL
