Sweet and rare! This is the fact that there are not a lot of the war period images of MKB 42 (H).
And I don’t know any other original pics on our territory displayed the same gun. This photograph became the start point for me of searching the original MKB 42 (H). And I found it (now in restoration).Last edited by IHTIANDR; 04-02-2009, 03:26 PM.

All of them were the troopers of 53rd Infantry/Rifle Guards Division. The picture was made by the correspondent who was making reportage for the Soviet front-newspaper “Krasnaya Zvezda” (“Red Star”) and spent one day in my grandfather’s sub-unit.
