Kenncarte - Denazified or something more interesting?

Hi all!
I've got this Kenncarte in my collection and the Third Reich Eagle symbol on the front has been covered/inked in. I don't know if this is some attempt at denazification of the document or whether it signifies something else - I am not sure as another Kenncarte I have in my collection has been denazified but much more crudely - the swastika has been inked in only.
Anybody got any thoughts?

I thought the standard way to de-nazify was to ink over the circle beneath the eagle. Never seen one like that before & not sure if it means anything, it could just be one persons way of doing it ??

It means nothing special. Some just cover the whole eagle and swastika when they denazify the Kennkarten.

I agree with Jeff. You will find a lot of ways to cover the NS symbols eagle and swastika - partly or totally. There was no rule given.

I agree, it means nothing special ... there was of course no standardised way of de-nazifying anything .... had to remove the symbols and how people did it and if they did was of course entirely up to them ... here is another example of a denazified Kennkarte in a completely different way ... PS: At least with simply putting stamps over the offending symbol, the denazification was reversable .... just in case there was a regime change I guess ...
