KC winner. Who is it ??

The Luftwaffe officer with the Knights Cross is Adolf Galland.

I think he means to the left of adolph in the first shot.He looks like the same guy in the middle on the photo on its side at the bottom.

That's a pretty direct question. And so Galland is the only person wearing a KC in the photo.

To me it looks like Gerhard Schoepfel ,who succeeded Galland as
Cmdr JG 26.

Sorry to say that I have no idea who that KC winner is.
To me he doesn't look like Schöpfel.

And there is another KC winner on your photo, at the right we see Oberst Max Ibel, looking at the map, but this photo doesn't show his KC.

(information taken from a photo after Galland's landing).

"Oberst Galland auf Flugplatz Carpiquet bei seinem Besuch im Gefechtsstand Jafü 3 Verson am 4.u.5.Juni 1942."

I do have photos of that same Gefechtsstand interior showing Ibel and others, but none of them shows Galland.
