Letter from SS-Stafhr. Albert Frey about Max Hansen

I have a small group of post war letters and photographs from SS-Stafhr. Albert Frey. In the attached letter Frey tells his correspondant the date that SS-Stafhr. Max Hansen won the Close Combat Clasp in Gold. Just above the main part of the letter is what appears to be Max Hansen's autograph. Can anyone tellme if the letter says anything about it being Hansen's autograph, or if anyone is familar with Hansen's signature, does it appear authentic? The photographs do show Frey and Hansen together. Thanks

The letter re-confirms the award date of the CCCiGold to Max Hansen.

IMO it is not Max Hansen's autograph on the upper right corner.
I have one on, but on dark backing, which look quite different.

    Cheers,
    Markus

Not Hansen. Besides, in the later years of his life Hansen was terribly ill and not writing. Letters were done by his family and he didn't sign. He died on March 17, 1990. While he may have written others obviously, I was told that by his family when I wrote in the mid-1980s.

The letter would appear to be addressed to the former Waffen-SS officer (GvB Div) and archivist Walter Ott and thus would be unlikely to be signed by Hansen.

Ljottrulf, you are correct, all the letters are addressed to Walter Ott. I did not know who Walter Ott was. Your information gives me a better understanding. Thanks to everyone for their help!
