RARE Cossack Photos GFM Kleist and Staff

    Hi Everyone,

I just got this super grouping of photos of GFM von Kleist and his staff. The best part of the grouping is that there a loads of photos of Cossack Volunteers.
The grouping is about 130 but I picked a few to show you here. Most of the photos have locations, dates and names of individuals on the backs.

There is also one of Pannwitz in traditional Cossack garb. (2nd one down on right) first group of photos.

I thought I'd share these photos before I move them along

    Keith

                          Thanks everyone,

I'm not into volunteer items anymore and these will be going on the E-Stand.

Harmel is correct it is Curt Schulze. Not sure about Panwitz.

Some previous form of this set used to belong to Jason von Zerneck, one time member of this forum. He did tell me he sold them. As a matter of fact, if you use your search function, you may still be able to locate it.

Here is what I have of Schulze, together with the invaluable help of Dr Dieter Zinke of course.

Sadly, I have to report that Jason, a young father from Queens, New York, not far from where I live in Manhanttan, was recently killed in Iraq. He was generous in teaching me and sharing with me many things.

                            Cheers

                              Hi Elwyn,

Thanks for the info, I looked up Jason's posts but could not find any of these photos.

I tried your link but I get an error message and it doesn't open.
