    Flakabt. 303 & Feldpostnummern

Can anyone help me with some info on this unit?

Between March and June '42 it was a Schw. Flakabt. but by December '42 it had become a Res. Flakabt.

In July '42 it was subordinate to Flakregiment 134 (mot) and in December '42 it came under Luftgau Moskau.

    It was associated with the following Feldpostnummern: L 30 431 (March '42); L 26 447 (July '42); L 45 518 (November 1944, Luftgau Posen).

Does anyone know which Flakdivision it was subordinate to? The Division in question was possibly commanded by a Generalmajor in March 1942.

Also, what was it's route across Russia and back from Moscow?

Finally, is it correct that the Commander of Luftgau Moskau, Gen. d. Flieger Fischer, received the Deutches Kreuz in silver? Any further info available on him?

Thanks for any help on this,

    James

    James,

For the given periods (L for Luftwaffe):
    L 30 431 (March '42):
    Flak-Div.12
    L 26 447 (July '42):
    Rgts.Stab Flak-Rgt 134
    L 45 518 (November 1944, Luftgau Posen):
Until 25.11.44 = Stab Le Flak-Abtl. 853, after this date = Stab Le Flak-Abtl.853 (bespannt)

            Thanks Chris,

The Flak page is just what I was looking for, really good. Do you know if it's part of a larger site? It doesn't seem to connect back to anything.

            Regards,

            James
