    SS Feldpostnummer - 22135 C

Could anyone please help with this FPN 22135 C. Here are a couple of envelopes with the number as well as a MIA document which also records the same FPN number.

Is it possible to learn more about where this man served through his FPN number? Sorry for the ignorance but I don't know much about this field of collecting...

    Thanks, Red

        Hi Adrian,

Thank you! that is great!!! I really appreciate this. I see the last date is 5.4.1944, is there any info available after that date? I'm particularly interested in his service around Feb-April 1945 as he was MIA in April 1945.

        Really interesting stuff Thanks, Red

Hi Red, that is all the info I have. As far as I know, it was used until the end of the war?

          Cheers, Ade.

PS: I forgot to mention about the "C" suffix to the number which can mean:

C = 2 Kompanie. (or number 6 Kp in II. Btl. or number 10 Kp. for III. and so on) So your guy was in 10 Kompanie.

Thanks Adrian, this document stuff is most complicated For the first time the "10 Kompanie" makes sense, I've been wondering about the naming of his unit as shown on his awards...

            Thanks for the help, Red
