Aus unserer neuen Unterkunft viele herzliche Grüsse! Leider haben wir sehr schlechtes Wetter. Wir haben auf das Wohl des verstorbenen Königs von Dänemark getrunken.
Nun gehen wir noch in die "Klause". Übrigens vielen Dank für die Karte aus Landstuhl.
Karten sind schneller zu lesen und zu beantworten als Briefe. Stimmt das?

I have some additions:

they drank a toast because of the death of the King of Danmark.

Landstuhl is a town (today 8700 inhabitants) in Germany near Kaiserslautern in Rheinland-Pfalz.
