I've moved the thread up for discussion.

Here are the issues as i see it.

                1. The unit designation belongs to 1942, not 1945, yes you do get all sorts of strange things written on WB docs in hospitals but this is supposed to be the SS hospital in Berlin.

                2. Why would a wounded TK soldier whose division was a long way away down by Vienna get sent all the way up to an already over burdened Berlin that was about to get surrounded? it doesn't make much sense.

Having said that, it could be the soldier was actually no longer with the TK and was wounded with another SS unit outside of Berlin. Perhaps without papers this was what was on his dogtag so that was what was typed up. That he was a Hauptscharführer shows he was a veteran which would back up the theory.

A difficult one for sure but worthy of further research.

I'm sure there could be many reasons why this Document has not been folded over time, Saying that its hard to find Documents that have not been Folded. The creases around the edge don't inspire confidence in me. Bottom of the Document have escaped any such ware.

Any chance of a Close up of signature area so we can see the presser flow marks?
