I received this picture today that i bought some days ago.
What kind of white jacket is the guy on the right wearing??
It looks like it has an M44 (triangle) eagle on it.

And does anyone know what the first word that's written on the back means?
Is it a town name?

The jacket looks like a NCO upgrade or a field made tunic. Troops did sometimes use captured material to make light weight tunics. I'd say the eagle is probably a flat-wire M44 eagle. I just had a tropical 3rd pattern Officer upgrade tunic and the exact same eagle was used.

Yay! i was able to buy another one from the same seller, on it are the same guys.

On the back i can read the following:

In the early morning we went
with happy singing and
fast marching to the Build area
to help

ödheide, August 1944

I'm not sure if i translated it correctly, ödheide is in East Prussia and after 1945 was forced into Poland, its now called: Pusta Dąbrówka

"Im Schippeinsatz" - in a mission with the shovel
