I would say that, judging from the tone of this one, that this is a photo of the Italian SS collar rank tab in red.

Red boards too.

Hi, If you check out his shoulder boards you will notice that the underlay matches the tabs in (red) . His color of branch is white as in infantry. Regards Dennis

I almost forgot . I believe the name of the Italian SS Officer is
Waffen Ostubaf. der SS Armando Giorleo and the German is SS-stubaf. Luis Thaler. Regards, Dennis
