Hello everyone,

I just received this award document from a WAF member, and wanted to show it to you all. It is signed by Generalleutnant Alexander Hartmann, who was killed in Stalingrad on 26 January 1943. His division was destroyed in Stalingrad, and was re-formed in Denmark in 1943.

This is the first TR document I've ever owned - does it look OK? Thanks!

Looks good to me. There's also one Karl Völkel listed on the German wargraves database as having died at Stalingrad, this could very well be your man.
