    What the...?

    Check out these beauties!

    All are in the upcoming Berliner-Auktionhaus catalogue #41...

    I can only see the preview so MAYBE these are in the repro/57 issue section? Of course those with swastikas could not be 57 issue...but what then?

    Does anyone have any comments on this auction house? I don't know much about them...

    Enjoy the photos! (and my comments)

    Hmmm...

    alrighty then!

    Verrry inderestink!

    ...she said it was too big for her finger...

    ...surely they would have run out of ammo first!

    U-571's hood ornament!?

    Look away, I am hideous!

    Ok...well that's a sample! There's plenty more to see on the site. Having said all that they do appear to have some nice items as well but I'll let the rest of you be the judge.

    Cheers,

    Adam

      And were is the Iron Cross with diamonds and the CCC in Gold with pendant for 100 days of close combat?

      For curiosity, they have web page, I need something to laugh.

      Could anyone bid in these items? With a small invest in some good books they can see that several of this pieces are pure junk or they thought that this house is the luckiest in the World and have everything, a Badenkampfabzeichen in gold, another with diamonds and both mint, the clasp from Rudel. It's amazing how some people try to earn money. Only excuse are that these were listed a scopies and sold for $50-100 each.

      Cheers

        JUNK

        IF this "Berlin Auction House" isn't selling this crap as fantasy pieces, then they are bucking the line to become the new "Fuhrer of Fantasy Land".

          Sometimes it seems that the Berliner Auktionshaus doesn't check everything as well as they might, and, as with any auction, you take your chances.

          Here's another Bandenkampfabzeichen from the upcoming auction, with both front and back:
          <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/4790.jpg"> <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/4790_2.jpg">

          They do have a section for "Museums- und Sammleranfertigungen", so these pieces probably will be in it. From the previous 40th auction are these copies:

          <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_40/picture/6738.jpg">
          <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_40/picture/6695.jpg">

          <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_40/picture/6718.jpg">
          This last one is described as marked "Schwerin Berlin", which makes it a fake, not a museum or collector's copy, in my book.

          All the opening bids are in the 15 to 25 euro range, and most don't seem to have sold.

            Also, no repro collection would be complete without:

                Since the repros are bunched together in the preview, and these are separate, I will assume for the sake of argumentation that these are among the ones being auctioned as original. I leave it to people with much greater knowledge than myself to assess them:

                <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/6486.jpg"> <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/6486_2.jpg">

                <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/6426.jpg">

                <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/6427.jpg">

                <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/6457.jpg"> <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/6457_2.jpg">

                <img src="http://www.berliner-auktionshaus.com/katalog/kat_41/picture/6575.jpg">

                I have no specific reason to question any of them (other than the first, given its rarity and Eric Queen's many warnings in this regard, and the other "screaming parrot" Paratrooper Badge). For me, however, the problem is not the obvious repros but the grey area between a dangerously good fake and the real deal, where my own ignorance is manifest.

                  Just went to their site. I sure hope they lable the garbage as such. If not HH should pass the torch to them as "the new november criminals".
                  Love the art work on some third reich postcards they had. Might start collecting some. Cancelled ones of course

                    Link to the Berlin Auction House

                    Would someone post the link to this wonderful auction house. I would like to see more of the "treasures" they are offering.

                      Adam !
                      This is not possible. I can't believe that a dealer offers such craps. By chance, have you picked up these pics in their Reproduction section ? If not, this is really a shame !

                          BERLIN AUCTION HNOUSE

                          Thanks Denis. It should be named "Berlin Zoo House" for all the strange creatures being offered.

                              I'm with jlava!

                              Do they have multiple copies of each, or do I have to wait for the next batch of originals to be made?
                              Cheers,
